10 Common Expressions Used in Daily English Conversation

1. Long time no see

Meaning: an English expression used as a greeting by people who have not seen each other for a while.

2. Twenty four seven

Meaning: Twenty four hours in a day seven a week.

Example:

3. Beat around the bush

Meaning: to avoid talking about what is important.

Example:

4. Sick and tired

Meaning: annoyed about or bored with someone or something and unwilling to put up them any longer.

A: Where are you going for lunch today?
